She never expected Kyle to lose his mind over a maid like this. “Kyle,do you know how many powerful Alphas begged for Seraphina?” “Do you know how hard I had to fight to secure this bond for you?!” “Seraphina’s bloodline is impeccable! Her destiny would have brought you absolute glory!” “And you humiliate her like this? Right in front of the entire pack?!”
Kyle jutted his chin out,completely unbothered. “I never said I didn’t want her! I just needed to put her in her place so she doesn’t try to bully Lila later!” He looked at me like he was doing me a massive favor. “As long as you treat Lila well and put her needs first,I’ll still accept you as my mate. I’ll even give you the Luna title to save your dignity.” “But don’t ever expect me to touch you.” “Lila is three months pregnant. Once the pup is born,you’ll be the one raising it. I won’t have Lila exhausting herself.” “And your father is the pack’s High Priest,right? He can be the pup’s personal tutor, making sure my heir is raised for greatness!” The whole room froze. Everyone was stunned by his outrageous demands. Ella’s face burned with humiliation. But then she remembered the pup growing in Lila’s womb. Kyle’s flesh and blood. Unable to punish that pregnant maid,she forced a smile and grabbed my hands. “My dear,this is all my fault. I failed to discipline him,and now you’re the one suffering.” “But the whole pack is watching. Could you just…pretend to agree to his demands?
